Publications

ACIS Members currently receive three publications:

1.  The ACIS annual (see below), a volume of scholarly essays published  in conjunction with the University of Massachusetts Press.  The first volume, Gender and Sexuality in Modern Ireland, was published in 1997 and the second volume, Politics & Performance in Contemporary Northern Ireland, was published in 1999. A forthcoming volume will focus on the United Irishmen and Young Ireland movement (expected publication 2000).

2.  The Irish Literary Supplement, a review of books published in March and September.

3.  The ACIS Newsletter, published in spring, fall and winter.

In addition, ACIS members have access to  The Guide to Irish Studies in the United States, currently being published and maintained on our web site. Members should contact the Secretary with updates.
